How to get to the NPC???
she looks super cute! i hope this turns into a kinda zelda like game, she would make a good protagonist for it i think

pls add immunity frames i can hit the bat once before it kills me and its too fast for me to get to the picnic can u just post a vid in my replys of the special ending ive been trying for 30 minutes
i did it without problem hitting him in a certain distance... and running to the picnic box when i'm low.
there faster then me so i cant just run straight to tthe picnic basket i camt killmthem fast enough to avoid dieing because no immunity frames
It looks good and I read the comments I just dont know how to move, whenever I click she slices though.
On next update I will add small tutorial. Right now you can move with WASD keys and mouse is used to touch girl and attack monsters.
I love how it's animated, but... is there any other way to attack without using the mouse?
Not currently. I am working on the settings right now. After an update a new key would be assigned for attack.
i love the actual art yet as already mentioned by yourself the gameplay does need work. currently with the few enemies available its just bring said enemy to the picnic and fight there. first of all id say make the enemies killable without doing so. for example make it so when you attack you can still move. i also dont know if it would fix after the fact you can move whilst attacking yet if needed also extend the swords hitbox. i also noticed that the enemy still attacks you whilst its in its death animation. alongside this some of the hp levels are unclear with 2 or 3 hits on those mushroom things leaving seemingly 0 health (meaning it probs has like 1 hp).
other then those issues though that obviously isnt minor yet necessary to say it is a really good prototype and i do look forward to more of this!
Thanks for your feedback. I'm actually working on the things you mentioned. I added 2 new enemies and now enemies are not moving/attacking while death animation start to play. I also added a numeric value of health , close to the health bar so you can exactly see how much hp each enemy has. I will look into attacking sequence and probably change slightly. I will try to adjust the level of enemies, but they won't be so easy to kill as I want to make somehow challenging.
Thank you for such an insightful response and im happy to hear most the issues are being looked into. and about the attacking sequence i 100% agree it shouldn't be easy but i do sorta wanna suggest just for starting players when its out of its testing stages that the first few enemies are almost impossible to die on unless your actively trying just so players do get used to the combat. i would also like to push that i feel you should be able to move in attacks since whilst your in said animation the enemy can still hit you practically draining all your health alongside this it might be worth making enemies do more damage but also have a delay before they can attack again but ofc thats just an idea! i look forward to seeing the stuff you've been working on! once again the game just looks great visually in the style chosen and i can see potential with the actual gameplay!

I have almost done a demo with new enemies and updated gameplay. Oh and I added a feature to change seasons, so the game should look much more better.

I am working currently on gameplay so the demo should be waaaayyy better.
I don't quite know how to give a review without mentioning the bugs. I guess all I can say is that this game does have potential.
I just started learning Unity and there is plenty of room to improve. This is only prototype to see if there was even a slight interest in this project. Demo should be less buggy ;)
It's really not a bad game for a first attempt prototype. I wish you luck with your project and hope for the best.
